Our wedding in the heart of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle
With Kelly’s family and friends based in Europe and Yasas’ in New Zealand and Australia, we wanted a wedding destination roughly in between but also somewhere meaningful that bridged our worlds. Sri Lanka stood out naturally: it’s where Yasas was born and raised, and its landscapes and culture made it an ideal spot for everyone to come together.
Our venue, Heritance Kandalama, has a unique setting perched atop a lakeside hill set within 211 acres of protected forest in Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle.
