Our story so far…
2022
Moving into the same house in London
In October 2022, Yasas settles down in the United Kingdom after leaving New Zealand and a few months of travelling around Europe. He moves into a house share he finds on SpareRoom in East London.
In December 2022, Kelly moves from Switzerland to London for her first job after university. She moves into the same house share.
2023
Getting to know each other
In the months that follow, Kelly & Yasas get to know each other and explore their new home city together as friends and housemates.
Nov 2023
First date
When Yasas moves out of the house-share in August 2023, the space allows them both to realise how much they miss each other. After a couple of months apart, they go out for drinks which leads to Yasas finally asking Kelly out on a date.
2024
Sharing a flat again… this time on purpose
Kelly & Yasas move in to their first home together, a flat in North East London in April 2024.
That year, they travel to Portugal, Switzerland, Netherlands, France, and Thailand.
2025
Another eventful year
In 2025, Kelly & Yasas travel to Morocco, Mexico, Ireland and Vietnam.

A picnic surprise
After a wine and cheese filled picnic, Yasas proposes to Kelly at Hampstead Heath.
2026
Planning the wedding
In January 2026, Kelly & Yasas travel to Sri Lanka to start planning their wedding.
