Check out of your hotel and continue on the rest of your trip!
Not sure where you want to go after the wedding?
The typical tourist route extends southwards towards the Hill Country (Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Hatton and Ella) where you’ll be surrounded by tea fields and then the South Coast (Yala National Park for a safari; Mirissa/Weligama, Tangalle, Hiriketiya, and Ahangama for the beach), . If you want more of a cultural fix, head north towards Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Jaffna. If you’d like to hit the beach sooner, you can head eastwards to Pasikuda Beach and Trincomalee. If you’re only in the country for the week, we’d suggest exploring more of the Cultural Triangle before heading back towards the Negombo for the beach before you head out.
Getting to Kandalama
The easiest and most comfortable way to reach Heritance Kandalama from Colombo City or Bandaranaike International Airport (Colombo Airport) is by car. The journey typically takes approximately 3–3.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
You can:
- Book an intercity taxi via Uber or the local ride-hailing app, PickMe
- Pre-book a Kangaroo Cab via their website or app
- Contact us directly, or reach out to the hotel on +94 66 555 5000, to arrange a private transfer
